What ages does LW ELC cater to?
We accept children ages 12 weeks through the age of five.
What are LWP's hours?
We are open 7:30am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday. We are open year-round (not including 8 days in the winter, 1 week in the summer, and holidays and scheduled in-service days). We do our best to align our schedule with the La Canada and Glendale school districts.
Does LW ELC have any religious curriculum?
No. Though we lease our property from La Canada Congregational Church, we are not affiliated with them and do not integrate any religious teachings into our philosophy or curriculum.
Do you have an after-school care program?
Currently, we do not offer after-school care.
What does a typical daily schedule look like?
Schedule's vary between classrooms, however, most schedules incorporate designated snack and meal times, art activities, circle time, academic learning, and lots of indoor and out-door play.
Can my child attend part-time?
Yes. We try to be as flexible as possible with schedules. Typically, we offer 1/2 day with lunch, 3/4 day, and full-time schedules. In addition, students may attend on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday, Tuesday/Thursday, or 5-Day basis. Let us know if you're in need of further flexibility and we will do our best to accommodate you!
