The Pandas and Ladybugs (Ages 2+)

Our Panda and Ladybug classrooms are our youngest preschool classrooms with two-year-olds. The Panda classroom is small with 10 children and two teachers. The Ladybugs classroom is larger with 18 children and three teachers. The majority of these children will be learning the basics of sharing, caring, and socialization. Most will be potty training and learning to do more things on their own and gain independence. A two-year-old’s “job” is to discover their world. They learn by experiencing hands-on activities. Two-year-olds have a strong drive for autonomy, and our daily plan allows for free choices with caring teachers nearby.

All classrooms provide individualized assessments in October and May. These assessments review each child's social, emotional, and cognitive development. These assessments help us stay on top of each child's individual needs and milestones.
